I’m testing a new experimental feature in Houdini AI Assistant called Animation Maker, powered by Kimodo.
Houdini AI Assistant:

The goal is to bring AI motion generation directly into a real Houdini workflow, instead of treating it as a separate external tool.
Current workflow:
Prompt → Generate Motion → Adjust Character Position → Regenerate
The system supports:
• Text-to-character animation
• Multi-prompt timeline
• 2D waypoint control
• Full-body keyframe guides
• Hand and foot guides
• Houdini KineFX workflow
This is still an early Windows beta, but it already shows an interesting direction for AI-assisted character animation inside Houdini.
I’m especially interested in making the workflow more controllable for artists not just generating motion, but guiding, adjusting, and reusing it inside a production setup.
